Arvid Elvsborg, Managing Director
Arvid Elvsborg has been our Managing director since 1995. He has a Cand. real in Geology and a Master in Business Administration.
Mr Elvsborg has more than 30 years’ experience in the international Oil and Gas Industry from the North Sea, Middle East, Americas and African areas. He has held several leadership positions with responsibility for fully integrated exploration and field development projects in upstream oil and gas as well as software and consultancy companies serving the oil industry.

Dag Ryen Ofstad, Manager Consultancy and Training
Dag Ryen Ofstad joined IPRES in 2008 and has 35+ years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry. He brings key insights from his experience in managing large scale upstream development projects and field development.
Mr Ofstad has an extended education with a Master’s degree in both Chemical and Petroleum Engineering, as well as a PhD in Reservoir Engineering.

Olav Øvreberg, Product Manager IPRESOURCE Forecast
Olav Øvreberg joined IPRES in 2007. He has 36 years of experience in the Oil and Gas Industry in North Sea, Angola, Gulf of Mexico and Russia. His experience is mainly in reservoir evaluation and engineering and reserves auditing, uncertainty evaluation and production forecasting and management in those areas.
Mr Øvreberg has a Bachelor in Chemical Engineering and Postgraduate in Oil and Process Engineering.

Tor Andersen, Manager IPRESOURCE
Tor Andersen joined IPRES in 1997 after 20 years within oil and gas research. Assigned as resource management consultant to major clients and involved in reserves reporting processes. Project manager on the development of resource management tools with clients nationally and internationally. He has his background in Reservoir Technology Science with an emphasis on simulation.
Mr Andersen has a Master of Science in Chemical Engineering and one in Petroleum Technology both from the University of Trondheim (now NTNU). He has given a number of talks at international conferences focusing on reserves management.

Sverre Tresselt , Product Manager IPRISK WELL
Sverre Tresselt joined IPRES in 2007 after 33 years in the Oil and Gas Industry in Norway, USA, UK, Russia, Vietnam, Egypt, Algeria, The Netherlands and Denmark. He holds a Master of Science Degree in both Metallurgy and Petroleum Technology from the University of Trondheim (now NTNU).
Mr Tresselt has performed a number of field development planning projects preparing and analysing subsurface, drilling, facility and economic data for asset evaluations in Norway and internationally. He has performed training courses in uncertainty, risk evaluation and decision support and well & field planning for major oil and gas companies, as well as at NTNU, using stochastic methods. In addition he has given a number of talks at international conferences focusing on upstream business risk management.

Erlend Glømmen, Manager IPRISK
Erlend Glømmen joined IPRES in 2003 and has 15 years of experience from the Oil and Gas industry. He holds a Master of Science degree in Reservoir Engineering and a Master in Business Administration.
Mr Glømmen has been instrumental in the development of the IPRISK products. He has also worked as project manager with key clients nationally and internationally, developed and conducted training courses, provided guidance on best practice guidelines and given a number of talks at international conferences focusing on upstream business risk management and decision-making.

Marius Hovland, Software Development Coordinator
Marius Hovland joined IPRES in 2007. He is one of our main developers and has lead and coordinated numerous of development projects.
Mr. Hovland has a background in development and consultancy and holds a Master of Science degree.
